Step onto the vintage carriages waiting for you at London Victoria Station. As you make your way to your plush armchair, prepare for a journey back in time. Revel in the gorgeous details of your surroundings, from shimmering French-polished marquetry to ornate brass details and lavish fabrics. Your carriage is unique and has its own story to tell—take time to uncover the history of each dining car during your journey. Soon, the train will begin a leisurely journey through Greater London and into Kent. Admire the scenery as you sip chilled Veuve Clicquot champagne. Reims-based Maison Veuve Clicquot has been creating luxurious champagnes since 1772. The maison is named after Madame Clicquot, a widow at 27 and the first woman to run a champagne house. Today you will be served an array of sweet and savoury treats created by celebrated pastry chef Claire Clark MBE and her team at Pretty Sweet. This exclusive selection of divine afternoon tea treats has been designed in partnership with Luminary Bakery, a social enterprise founded by women for women. After your round trip, arrive back at London Victoria and alight with sweet memories to treasure. As a memento of your journey, you’ll receive a bespoke copy of Luminary Bakery’s Rising Hope cookbook. Please note, passengers do not disembark from the train during this trip.
