Part of Hush Heath Estate, it’s a serene, nature-rich space with wildflower meadows, ancient oak woodlands and apple orchards. The vineyards, planted on Wealden clay soils, are used for many of the company’s single-vineyard wines, including their flagship Balfour Brut Rosé. Prepare for a fascinating immersion in Balfour’s winemaking philosophy as you visit the vineyards and the state-of-the-art winery and enjoy a tutored tasting of still and sparkling wines. There’s also time to relax and absorb the idyllic surroundings before returning to the train for your journey back to London.
