Day 1

Lima

Arrive in Lima where one of our representatives will be waiting to escort you to Miraflores Park, A Belmond Hotel. Spend your first day exploring this vibrant city at your leisure or relaxing by the rooftop pool.

Day 2

Lima

Visit a local market, then continue to a restaurant where the chef will show you how to prepare our traditional dishes. In the afternoon your guide will meet you to begin your Lima city tour including Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, City Hall, the Archbishop's Palace and San Francisco Monastery. Continue sightseeing through the vibrant residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores. Stay overnight at Miraflores Park.

Day 3

Sacred Valley

Fly from Lima to Cusco, where one of our representatives will be waiting to escort you to Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel. On your journey into the Sacred Valley, visit a traditional textile center. After settling in at the hotel, enjoy a special lunch by the river, including a variety of dishes featuring local ingredients.

Day 4

Sacred Valley

Enjoy a day tour to the Sacred Valley visiting the amazing Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, the dazzling Maras salt pans and Moray agricultural terraces. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel.

Day 5

Machu Picchu

Travel from Ollantaytambo train station to Machu Picchu aboard the Hiram Bingham, A Belmond Train. On arrival at Agua Calientes, board the bus to Machu Picchu and embark on a two-hour guided tour of the legendary citadel. Enjoy a cocktail in the mountains at Sanctuary Lodge, A Belmond Hotel before returning to Aguas Calientes to board the Hiram Bingham. Return to Cusco, enjoying fine dining and live music on the way. Stay overnight at Palacio Nazarenas, A Belmond Hotel.

Day 6

Cusco

Discover Cusco on foot, beginning with a trip to the local market. Continue to the Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas, the Santo Domingo Temple and Koricancha. In the afternoon visit the magnificent Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Continue to Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Enjoy a sublime dinner at Mauka restaurant. The menu combines time-honoured ingredients with cutting-edge methods. Stay overnight at Palacio Nazarenas.

Day 7

Lake Titicaca

Board the Andean Explorer, A Belmond Train, to Puno and Arequipa. Visit Raqchi. Overnight on board the train at Lake Titicaca station.

Day 8

Lake Titicaca

Witness the sunrise at Lake Titicaca before sailing to the Uros floating islands and Taquile. Stay overnight on Andean Explorer.

Day 9

Arequipa

Admire Lake Lagunillas and the ancient Sumbay Cave paintings before going to Arequipa. On arrival to Arequipa enjoy a panoramic tour as you travel to the airport. Fly to Lima. At Lima Airport you will be given assistance with your international flight connection.
