Things to do in St. Martin
There are endless things to do in St. Martin. Take to the waves with our instructors for an aquatic adventure, or enjoy an energizing yoga class to start your day. We have a host of sporting, cultural and culinary Caribbean activities to enrich your time on the island.
Let the 360° turquoise panoramas lure you offshore and into one of our private charter boats.
Sail the serene waters between St. Barts or Anguilla, enjoying the best of St. Martin’s secluded coves en route. Reserve your choice of 52ft Sunseeker, 36ft Fairline or 32ft World Cat. Sailboats and catamarans are also available.
Escape to Tintamarre
Take an exhilarating pre-dawn boat ride to Tintamarre. This uninhabited island is a former mid-century aviation strip in the Saint Martin Nature Reserve.
Snorkel with rare hawksbill turtles and sting-rays in unparalleled beauty. A local marine conservationist from the Saint Martin Nature Reserve is on hand to educate us about the rich marine fauna. There’s even a chance to spot majestic humpback whales in mating season. Share an energizing breakfast on the beach and return home refreshed and invigorated by this distinctly Caribbean experience.
Enter a world of marine life during our popular two-hour snorkel cruises. Dive in at Creole Rock, a natural reserve moments away from the famous Grand Case.
Departing daily at 10am, the tour includes all gear, towels and refreshments. Remember to keep your eyes peeled for giant turtles.
Non-Motorized Water Sports
It’s hard to stay on the beach when the water is as blue as this.
Enjoy complimentary use of single or double kayaks and two Hobie Cats, or try your hand at paddle boarding to surf the waves at sunset. Snorkeling gear is also available at the Water Sports Cabana from 9:30am to 4:30pm—ask our staff for tips on where best to dive.
Hiking with the Arawaks
Set off from under the green jungle canopy to experience an excursion up St Martin’s tallest peak. Soak up the sweeping island views with a local nature guide.
Later, enjoy an apéritif in the company of St. Martin’s resident archaeologist, Christophe Henocq, as he retraces the history of the island’s original settlers: the Arawaks.
Champagne Sunset Cruise
With the wind in your hair and sun sinking into the waves, toast your holiday with a sunset sail over the Caribbean Sea. Take off over shimmering waters and enjoy the perfect romantic getaway or gathering with friends and loved ones over chilled champagne.
