35th Anniversary Music Night

20 November – 35th Anniversary Music Night with Sheku Kanneh-Mason

Join us for a grand finale to the hotel’s 35th anniversary celebrations, and a commemoration to Raymond’s 70th birthday. Anticipate an evening of culinary decadence and musical excellence, courtesy of cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the brightest young star on the classical music scene.

Sheku became a household name after his enchanting solo performance at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He won the 2016 BBC Young Musician competition and his album, Inspiration, spent many weeks at number 1 in the classical chart. In June 2018 he received the Male Artist of the Year and Critics’ Choice at the Classic BRIT awards.

2 December – Christmas Carol Concert Evening with The Choir of New College Oxford

The Choir of New College Oxford iscelebrated for their distinctive sound, embodying the splendour of the English choral tradition. Their core repertoire is diverse, but has a scholarly focus on renaissance and baroque music.

3 December – Christmas Carol Concert Evening with The Choir of Christ Church Cathedral

With a history spanning 500 years, The Choir of Christ Church Cathedral is famed for its youthful sound and daring musical program. They are renowned for training some of the country’s leading organists. Their current line-up includes twelve men and sixteen boys.

4 December – Christmas Carol Concert Evening with The Choir of Queen’s College Oxford

Recently hailed by Classic FM as ‘one of the world’s most renowned choirs’, The Choir of Queens College Oxford is a sensational mixed-voice ensemble. Led by Director Owen Rees and consisting of thirty singers, their interpretations of choral music have been described as revelatory and visionary by BBC Music Magazine.

Ranked among the best mixed-voice collegiate choirs in Britain, The Choir of Royal Holloway attracts critical acclaim for both their recordings and live concerts. Their unique sound draws on a specialisation in late-renaissance music along with contemporary hits, notably from the Balkan states.

10 December – Christmas Carol Concert Evening with Trinity Boys Choir

16 December – Winter Floral and Gift Wrapping Displays with Jonathan Moseley and Jane Means - SOLD OUT

21 December – A Festive Audience with Gerald Dickens

Fascinated by the life and works of his great great grandfather, Charles, actor Gerald Dickens created his first one-man show; a theatrical performance of A Christmas Carol. Join Gerald for an immersive dining experience. Anticipate a fresh and modern perspective of light-hearted scenes from the great author’s works, plus diary extracts and observations from those who knew and worked with Charles Dickens himself.

31 December – New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Dance
