Day 1: Mandarin Oriental Singapore

Upon arriving into Singapore settle in for a two-night stay at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Singapore.



Day 2: Mandarin Oriental Singapore

Enjoy time at leisure or book a half-day sightseeing tour with us (supplement applies).

Sightseeing options include a bumboat ride along Singapore River or visits to the Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court, City Hall, Thian Hock Keng Temple and the National Orchid Garden.



Day 3: Eastern & Oriental Express

Enjoy a private transfer to the iconic Raffles Hotel where you will check-in for your train journey aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express.

Afternoon tea is served, and later you can spend time relaxing or exploring the train. Savour an aperitif accompanied by live piano music in the Bar Car before your first dinner on board. Once night falls, disembark for a stroll through Kuala Lumpur’s magnificent station.



Day 4: Eastern & Oriental Express

Enjoy breakfast in your cabin before disembarking at Kuala Kangsar. Tour this royal town, visiting the Ubudiah Mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery.

Rejoin the train for a delicious lunch, and then watch the ever-changing scenery as you cross into Thailand. Share stories with your fellow travellers over dinner before retiring for the night



Day 5: Eastern & Oriental Express

After lunch, disembark at Kuala Kangsar for a guided tour of this fascinating royal town, taking in the majestic Ubudiah Mosque. Following a visit to the Royal Museum of Perak, the tour concludes at the Sultan Shah Gallery.

Rejoin the train for a refreshing cocktail accompanied by live piano music before a glamorous final dinner on board



Day 6: Mandarin Oriental Bangkok

Alight in the morning at the River Kwai Bridge station for a sightseeing cruise with a local historian. After, visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre and take some time to visit the Don Rak War Cemetery. Return to the train for lunch before ending your journey in Bangkok in the late afternoon.

Discover Bangkok at leisure. Marvel at the ornate buildings and stupas while learning about the colourful history of the Kings of Siam.

Take a private transfer to the airport for your Bangkok Airways Economy Class flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival our representative will meet you to arrange your private transfer to Belmond La Résidence d'Angkor for a five-night stay.

Belmond La Résidence d'Angkor sits on the banks of Siem Reap’s tree-lined river. It is ideally placed to explore the breathtaking complex of temples at Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After breakfast embark on a full day guided tour. Visit fascinating temples and historical sites, including the royal baths of Srah Srang, Ta Keo and the ancient Khmer capital of Angkor Thom.

Having explored the ancient cultures of the Angkor Empire, today we discover contemporary Cambodia. Explore Kompong Phluk, a stilted village rarely visited by tourists. Meet a local family for an intimate look at a world barely changed for 2,000 years.

Today’s sightseeing starts with a walk off the beaten track to find some rarely visited Angkorian temples. You’ll meet local farmers and children, and stop to try seasonal fruit found along the way

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure, whether it be lounging by the pool or indulging with a spa treatment at the hotel’s Kong Kea Spa. Other options include private yoga and meditation classes.

It is time to bid farewell to Siem Reap as you continue with your onward travel arrangements. Please note: This journey is also available travelling from Bangkok to Singapore.
