Terrarium Building

Discover the art of planting and creating small garden features using local materials and plants.

A terrarium is a miniature garden enclosed in glass, consisting of small plants, soil, and decorative elements like rocks or figurines, all contained within a glass container such as a jar or a fish tank. Terrariums are self-sustaining ecosystems, as the glass enclosure creates a greenhouse effect, allowing heat and light to enter while trapping moisture inside.

These ornamental mini jungles can be created once a week at the Cap Juluca Nursery.

As an integral part of our wellness philosophy, our expert trainers create fully customised inspiring sessions. Choose Hatha Yoga where you work with breath to increase your stretch and flexibility. Or opt for energising Ashtanga Yoga which works with yoga flows in a cardio workout.

Sound healing: Connect with the inner you with a sound healing workshop that uses Tibetan bowls for a deep meditation and powerful healing. The vibrations will relax the mind and combat stress and anxiety.

Tai chi: Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art practice for self defense and health, featuring slow movements and posture, a meditative state of mind and controlled breathing.

Pilates: Add some calm to your spa retreat with a pilates class. Pilates works with the body to build strength, endurance, and flexibility, working on the core to help with posture and balance. We also offer private reformer pilates classes.

Aqua water exercise: This low impact activity takes the pressure off joints, bones and muscles. A workout using water as resistance to help increase muscle strength, cardio and endurance.

Salt-Picking Experience

Before Anguilla’s tourism boom of the 1980s, salt picking was the primary livelihood for Anguillians. Today, the island's largest salt pond in Road Bay, amidst the warm and dry weather, evolves from shallow coastal ponds into natural salt pans, crystallising seawater.

Take part in this age-old tradition, connecting with Anguilla's maritime heritage, then enjoy traditional breakfast bites after the experience.

This exclusive experience is available on a seasonal basis from May to September

Personal Training: Allow our expert trainers to guide you through a one-on-one personal experience working towards your fitness goals. These sessions involve a full body workout using different training methods including functional, cardio, strength and flexibility. We also offer group boot camp sessions, as well as workouts on the beach.

Tennis: Our outdoor tennis courts offer a perfect way into fitness, building muscle strength, endurance, cardio, and stamina while also having fun, either with 2 players or 4 players. We offer private tennis lessons with a professional coach to help you improve and play like a professional, offering one on one lessons or semi-private lessons for 2-6 people.

Pickleball: Enhance your Caribbean spa resort getaway with a round of Pickleball. It’s is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. Pickleball private coaching is available to guide you through skill development and technique.

Basketball: Our basketball court is a fun way to improve your wellness and spend time with the family.

Horseback Riding

Get ready for an exciting experience on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Feel the crisp sea breeze glide you along as you horseback ride at a leisurely pace in the sea or gallop along the beach with assistance from our trained guides.

From an introductory horseback ride with a leisurely pace, ride in the sea, to gallop along the beach or learn to ride on a laidback lesson in the island's Equestrian Centre. Horses are carefully selected and well-schooled to ride.

Watersports

From water skiing to windsurfing or kayak tours, the waters of Maundays Bay in the Caribbean offer adventures and activities for seafarers of all types.

Embrace life exploring Cap Juluca by water with our unlimited range of non-motorised watersports including snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, scuba and windsurfing.

Fancy more of a thrill? Try your hand at waterskiing and select from O’Brien World Team 70 slalom skis or O’Brien and Connelly skis to suit your skill level and size. Then join our instructor on the boat for thrills and spills on the open waves.

Fitness Centre

Even in the tropics, stay toned and on track with your fitness regimen. Our spacious, 2,600 sq. ft. studio features the latest state-of-the-art equipment for cardio or weight training.
