Belmond Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be redeemed against goods and services at all Belmond owned and managed hotels, trains and cruises around the world (subject to the Limitations below). For in-house hotel guests or passengers on board a train or cruise, any charge that can be charged to the guest’s room or cabin can be paid for with a Gift Card. This includes taxes and gratuities.

Gift Cards may not be used to secure, confirm or prepay a hotel or restaurant reservation. Gift Cards may be used for advance payment of travel aboard trains and cruises.


Please ensure that you take your Gift Card with you when you travel.  To avoid disappointment, we suggest that Gift Card holders mention or present the Gift Card at the time of booking. 

• Gift Cards may not be used to secure, confirm or prepay a hotel or restaurant reservation. 
• For in-house hotel guests, any charge that can be billed to the guest’s room can be paid for with a Gift Card. This includes taxes and gratuities.
• Gift Cards may ONLY be used to settle balances in advance of travel through the reservations department. They cannot be redeemed onboard a Belmond train or cruise.

With the exception of shipping fees for plastic Gift Cards purchased online, no service or use fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of Gift Cards in connection with the sale of Gift Cards.

The Gift Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card or debit card; it becomes inactive upon use of all the card value. There is no expiration date for the Gift Card. The amount available for redemption on each Gift Card, shall, in the absence of manifest error, be determined by Belmond. 



Gift Cards may be combined with other forms of payment. 



Gift Cards are not exchangeable for cash unless required by applicable local law and have no value unless redeemed in accordance with these terms. 

Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with receipt or use of the Gift Card is the recipient’s responsibility. 


Where the currency of the Gift Card differs from the payment it is being applied to, the exchange rate will be calculated as per the ‘property’ rate to that currency on the day when the Gift Card is redeemed.


Belmond is not responsible for Gift Cards that are lost, stolen or destroyed. If your card is lost or stolen, please alert us immediately at belmondgiftcardsupport@cashstar.com or by phone at 844-234-7807 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST, seven days a week and we will endeavour to freeze the existing balance of the Belmond Gift Card and can arrange the issue of a replacement card to you for that amount. We reserve the right to cancel a Belmond Gift Card if we believe that the card was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means. Neither Belmond (nor any other member of the Belmond Ltd. Corporate group) nor its affiliates are responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards, or the security of any information contained on them.

By purchasing your Gift Card or e-Gift Card on www.belmond.com/giftcards, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to Belmond for the purpose of the issue and redemption of your Gift Card or e-Gift Card. Should you expressly opt in to receive marketing communications, you will receive marketing communications from Belmond until such time as you opt out.

Belmond and its respective affiliates make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to Gift Cards, including without limitation, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. If a Gift Card code is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such Gift Card.
