A Gift Card is a credit card-sized plastic card loaded with a monetary value for the recipient to redeem against Belmond hotels, trains and river cruisers worldwide (‘properties’).
An e-Gift Card is an electronic gift card that is delivered to the recipient instantly via email. This is an ideal way to purchase last minute gifts.
Belmond Gift Cards can be purchased at a growing number of our locations around the world and via www.belmond.com/giftcards
E-Gift Cards can be purchased at
www.belmond.com/giftcards
in USD, GBP and EUR.
Gift cards and e-Gift Cards can be purchased for any denomination between the equivalent of US$50 and US$2,000, £1,500 or €1,700.
Gift Cards for a specific experience can be purchased at a number of our properties, or on the property websites. This includes but is not limited to the following properties: Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Reid’s Palace, Hotel Cipriani and Mount Nelson Hotel. These gift cards will be presented for the experience but will be loaded with the equivalent monetary value of the experience at the time of purchase. Should the Gift Card be redeemed at a later date when the value of the experience has increased, the guest will be required to pay the difference.

You may cancel the purchase of a Gift Card purchased at one of our properties within 24 hours by visiting that property. You may not return or cancel your Gift Cards purchased at www.belmond.com/gift-cards after the order has been dispatched to the recipient. Purchasers who wish to cancel a Gift Card purchase prior to its delivery to a recipient should contact

prior to the delivery date selected during the purchase process.
Belmond Gift Cards and e-Gift cards can be redeemed against goods and services at all Belmond owned and managed hotels, trains and cruises, around the world (subject to the limitations below).
Please ensure that you take your Gift Card or e-Gift Card with you when you travel, as Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed after the time of service. To avoid disappointment, we suggest that Gift Card holders mention or present the Gift Card at the time of booking.
E-Gift Cards should be printed out and taken with you at time of travel. These contain a unique numeric reference. Alternatively e-Gift Cards can be shown on property using your smart phone.
Yes, please ensure that you take your Gift Card or e-Gift Card with you when you travel, as Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed after the time of service.
No, Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be used to pay for meals or services at Belmond hotels, even if the guest is not staying at that hotel.
Gift cards and e-Gift Cards can be used globally. The exchange rate will be calculated as per the property exchange rate to that currency on the day when the Gift Card or e-Gift Card is redeemed.
No, the Gift Card or e-Gift Card can be spent on multiple occasions until the credit is exhausted.
Belmond Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Yes, if the value of your bill is greater that the credit on your Gift Card or e-Gift Card, the Gift Card credit can be exhausted before using an alternative method of payment to settle the remainder or the bill.
Yes, should you hold multiple Gift Cards, this can be arranged.
Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be used as a guarantee method for hotel reservations, but may be used for advance payment of travel aboard trains and cruises.
No, Gift Cards and e-Gift cards cannot be used to prepay hotel rates.
No, Belmond Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards do not have an expiry date.
