Can I visit Hotel das Cataratas on a day pass?

Day passes are available for non-hotel guests who wish to enjoy the pool and other facilities, subject to availability and prior reservation. The rate is BRL 700 per person, prepaid, with additional expenses at bars, restaurants, the spa and shops paid directly on site.

The pass includes lunch at Ipê Restaurant with non-alcoholic beverages, a welcome drink, access to the pool, spa, social areas and – when available – use of the tennis court, bicycles and recreational activities. Guests also receive a 20% discount on spa treatments and food and beverages. Children ages 0-6 are complimentary when accompanied by a paying adult, ages 7-12 receive 50% off and from 13 onward the full adult rate applies; all visitors must present valid ID and minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with documentation.

Cancellations up to 48 hours in advance incur no fee, while later cancellations or no-shows are fully charged. Day Passes are not available during Carnival, national holidays and special event dates and all rates are subject to change. Please note that entry to Iguaçu National Park is not included and must be purchased separately.

When is the best time of year to visit Iguassu Falls?

Iguassu Falls can be visited year-round thanks to its consistently warm, tropical climate, but certain times offer different advantages. The high season runs from November to February and in July, when weather is hot and humid and tourism peaks.

For a more relaxed experience, the shoulder seasons of March to April and September to October offer pleasant weather with fewer crowds. The low season, from May to August, is cooler with less humidity, making it comfortable for touring, though there may be more frequent rain from November through March.

What times can we access the falls and national park — can hotel guests enter outside normal opening hours?

Because the hotel is inside the park, guests have exclusive access to the falls before or after public visiting hours (for a quieter, less crowded experience).

Can I bring my pet to your property?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Hotel das Cataratas.
