Our three dining cars each possess a distinct personality, a reflection of their storied pasts and exquisite craftsmanship. Étoile du Nord, built in 1926 in England, features intricate marquetry and sumptuous moquette velvet upholstery. Côte d’Azur, constructed in 1929 and adorned by the legendary René Lalique, glows with faintly blue opaque glass panels depicting classical figures holding grapes, complemented by a frieze of smaller matching designs. The third restaurant carriage, L’Oriental, built in 1927, captivates with its striking black lacquer panels and refined elegance.

From indulgent breakfasts served in the privacy of your cabin to celebratory morning feasts complete with truffles, caviar and champagne, days aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express begin in refined luxury. At lunchtime, unwind over a leisurely three-course menu, each dish freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Our sommelier will expertly select the perfect wine to accompany your meal.
