Restaurants & Bars

Chef Curtis Stone, with a short beard and dark-rimmed glasses, tosses chopped green tomatoes in a steel bowl, seen close-up.

Across Maroma’s restaurants and bars, contemporary Mexican dining is guided by seasonal, local produce. From fire-led cooking at Woodend by Curtis Stone to regional flavours at Casa Mayor, each setting reflects the spirit of the destination.

Maroma Spa by Guerlain

A woman in a white robe relaxes on a cane chair with a drink in the Maroma Spa by Guerlain courtyard, viewed through foliage.

Guerlain’s first spa in Latin America is a temple for transformative moments. Embark on a wellness journey that blends Mayan tradition, native ingredients and time-honoured rituals.

According to Mayan legend, the feathered creators of the sea and heavens called the world into being before creating humanity – a people capable of giving worship to nature. From this beginning, endless Mayan rituals were sewn into the lands of the Yucatán.

Centuries later, a Mexican architect fell in love with the Riviera Maya and built the very first hotel in the area, Maroma. In 2023, celebrated interior architect Tara Bernerd re-designed the property using construction materials and textiles entirely sourced from Mexico, with designs aligned to the sacred geometry developed by Mayan masons.
