Standard check-in time at Caruso is from 3:00pm onwards. We kindly ask that guests observe a check-out time of 12pm (noon) on their day of departure. This allows our team to prepare the rooms to our high standards for arriving guests.

Caruso is situated high on the cliffs of Ravello, offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. For guests traveling from Rome or Naples, we recommend the following options.

From Naples, the most convenient option is a private car transfer from Naples International Airport (NAP) or Naples Central Station. This typically takes around up to 1 hour abd 30 minutes — our concierge can arrange this for you. And for those who’d like to travel in a truly spectacular way, helicopter transfers can be arranged from Naples directly to Ravello.

From Rome, take a high-speed train from Rome Termini to Naples Central Station (journey is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes). Then, a pre-arranged private car transfer can take you to the hotel in about approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes.

For guests who’d like to rent a car themselves, a direct private car transfer from Rome to Ravello typically takes up to 4 hours.

Caruso is approximately 65 kilometers (40 miles) from Naples International Airport (NAP). The scenic drive to Ravello typically takes around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes by private car transfer, depending on traffic conditions.

We can arrange a comprehensive range of private transfers to ensure your arrival and departure are as seamless and luxurious as possible. Options include private car transfers (available from Naples, Rome and other locations directly to the hotel), helicopter transfers, and private boat transfers.

Our hotel offers a complimentary scheduled shuttle service for our guests, connecting the hotel to the charming town of Amalfi. This service makes it easy to explore one of the most iconic destinations on the Amalfi Coast.

While we do not operate a direct shuttle to Positano, our concierge can assist with arranging private transfers or advise on local transportation options to reach Positano or other nearby towns from Amalfi.

Standard-sized coaches and minibuses. Our access roads are suitable for most commercial tour buses. For large group bookings or specific bus dimensions, we recommend contacting the hotel directly in advance to ensure smooth arrival and departure logistics for your party. Our team can provide precise guidance on bus accessibility.

We’re committed to ensuring a comfortable and accessible stay for all our guests. While the hotel is housed in a historic building perched on a cliffside, we do offer facilities and services to assist guests with reduced mobility. We have accessible rooms and suites, and public areas are generally navigable via elevators or ramps.
