Nature

Nestled in the heart of the Colca Valley, Las Casitas is a rural retreat that captures the natural beauty of southern Peru. It’s a place to admire sweeping views of the Andean landscape, dotted by terraced hillsides and ancient Inca trails. There’s a peaceful rhythm to life at Las Casitas, shaped by the land and its seasons.

Our 14 acres of grounds are filled with over 100 plant species; bougainvillea and geraniums frame the buildings, while native shrubs and flowering cacti gem the landscape. Queñua trees and Cantuta trees, emblematic of the Andean highlands, grow alongside eucalyptus trees that sway in the breeze, while wildflowers add bursts of color in the cooler months.

Lush vegetable gardens add to the charm of the resort. Find rows of crisp lettuce, herbs, squash, corn and heirloom tomatoes that grow under the care of dedicated gardeners. The harvest is used daily in the hotel’s kitchens.
