If you decide to head west, follow the sunny southern coast to reach Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe. Stop at the suspended glass platform to take in the incredible views before heading to Paúl da Serra, the island’s largest plateau. With your guide, continue northwards to spot the natural saltwater swimming pools at Porto Moniz.
