The vast estate of Castello di Casole is a treasure trove of truffles. Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and head off into the woods, aided by specially trained Lagotto Romagnolo dogs. Then return to the hotel for a delicious menu based on your finds of the day.
Black truffles are abundant in September and October but can be found all year round. Reservations are essential. Comfortable clothes and trainers or hiking boots are advised.
