Eagle Island is surrounded by abundant birdlife and guests will have the opportunity to spot the elusive Pels Fishing Owl, the majestic Fish Eagle and the brilliantly coloured malachite kingfisher. There are also plenty of larger animals to be found in this area, including elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. Elusive big cats have made this island their home and can sometimes be seen swimming in order to catch their prey.
