Lodge Restaurant

The restaurant at Savute Elephant Lodge sits on a raised platform overlooking the dramatic savannah beyond. Take your seat for breakfast, complete with a delightful buffet spread filled with healthy and hearty options to set you up for a day’s adventure. Afternoon tea includes several sweet and savoury bites for a delicious pick-me-up (and, of course, chilled champagne waiting for you).

Lunches and dinners are selected à la carte from a daily-changing menu based upon what is locally sourced and in season, giving you the chance to dine upon beloved Setswana dishes like seswaa and samp, alongside fresh grilled fish, filet mignon and an array of vibrant salads. Your meals are paired with fine wines and champagnes, all included in your rate so that you may drink and dine to your heart’s content after a busy day of game drives in the bush.

Our menus always include options for pescetarian and vegetarian diets. With advance notice, we can also provide kosher options. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements that you would like to discuss with us.
