Closed for Redevelopment
Stay tuned as we reveal more details of Le Manoir's redevelopment, which will enhance our gardens, rooms and culinary spaces.
Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons has been a gathering place for the culinary curious for decades, but our history stretches back centuries. Hidden among hills of Oxfordshire overlooking the water meadows of the Thames Valley, the estate can be traced back to 1225.
After expansion in the 17th century to add orchards, fishponds and a dovecote, the property passed between Lords and ministers for 300 years before being taken under the custodianship of Raymond Blanc OBE in 1984.
After 41 years of pioneering leadership, Raymond Blanc OBE transitioned to the role of Founder and Lifetime Ambassador as the hotel closed for an exciting redevelopment.
