Etna’s north side is its most enchanting, showcasing a variety of changing landscapes as you climb its ascent.
Journey into its untamed beauty aboard a Jeep, exploring a centuries-old pine forest that changes abruptly as you reach the remains of the 2002 lava flow. Here the landscape becomes lunar, as the sparse stretches take on a unique beauty of their own, miles away from more popular tourist routes.
We suggest bringing a spare T-shirt, long trousers, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen. This activity can be paired with wine tasting and lunch at a choice of local restaurants.
