Confections x Collections 2026

This 5–7 November, Confections x Collections returns for its fifth edition. Join us for our renowned annual celebration of slow African fashion and culinary craft. Co-curated with sustainability-focused platform Twyg, CxC welcomes you to experience an expression of contemporary African luxury, brought to life across Mount Nelson's iconic estate.

Rooted in the hotel's rich garden heritage, CxC26 will transform the estate into an immersive journey designed to delight the senses, spark curiosity and inspire.

Sevaria is a Nairobi-based designer blending tailoring and fluid drapery with recycled Gikomba market materials and Afro-nostalgia. The new collection has been specially prepared for CxC26.

Cape Town-based designer and artist, Onesimo, creates size-agnostic, natural-fibre garments through waste upcycling and community-driven public performances.

This Harare-based textile artist and designer crafts sustainable, locally-sourced Zimbabwean cotton and linen garments rooted in cultural storytelling and traditional handcrafts.

Johannesburg-based creative director, Wanda, blends contemporary luxury tailoring with archival research and South African cultural history. His new collection is launching at CxC26.
