The Artistic Pulse of La Residencia

Between the verdant peaks of the Tramuntana Mountains and the artist’s village of Deià, La Residencia is a haven for inspiring creativity.

Deià is also the favourite refuge of poet and novelist Robert Graves, whose legacy is honoured in our romantic villa. Celebrated surrealist painter Joan Miró was inspired by the cultural heritage and rolling landscapes of Mallorca. A permanent collection of his work is found in his namesake restaurant at La Residencia and has inspired our unique ‘Tea with Miró’ experience.

The artistic past of the hotel also shapes its future. We continue to partner with contemporary and emerging artists, who encourage guests to explore their creative impulses through mediums including painting and sculpture.
