Arrive in Thailand’s fascinating capital city for a two-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel or another luxury hotel in Bangkok. As intoxicating as it is diverse, this city is a melting pot of exotic aromas, historical contrasts and visual delights.
Enjoy a private transfer from your hotel to the station and board the Eastern & Oriental Express train.
Settle in as the train rolls through the stunning countryside. Dinner is served in one of the luxurious dining cars. Afterwards, head to the Bar Car to relax with fellow travellers or retire to your cosy cabin.
After breakfast, disembark at the River Kwai Bridge station for a leisurely cruise guided by a local historian. Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre and take some time to explore the Don Rak War Cemetery.
Return to the train and reflect on your day over a fabulous dinner.

After lunch, disembark at Kuala Kangsar for a guided tour of this fascinating royal town, taking in the majestic Ubudiah Mosque. Following a visit to the Royal Museum of Perak, the tour concludes at the Sultan Shah Gallery.
Rejoin the train for a refreshing cocktail accompanied by live piano music before a glamorous final dinner on board
Arrive in Singapore and bid farewell to the train. You will be met by one of our representatives for your private transfer from the station to the iconic Raffles Hotel for a two-night stay.
