About The Cadogan

How many rooms and suites does The Cadogan have?

We have 54 keys, 15 rooms and 37 suites at The Cadogan, plus two signature suites: Oscar and The Cadogan Penthouse. Each of them features unique details and provides the ultimate comfort and style to our guests.

When did The Cadogan open?

The Cadogan hotel originally opened in 1887 and has been the theatre of many exquisite parties ever since. Following a considered refurbishment in 2017, The Cadogan opened as a Belmond hotel in 2019. For those of you who are curious to know more about the history of our residence in London, why not speak to a member of our team? They’d be delighted to tell you all about the legends of The Cadogan and its surroundings.

Do you have on site car parking facilities?

We don’t have car parking facilities at The Cadogan, but if you’d like more information about parking around The Cadogan, a member of the reception team will guide you through the safest parking spots around Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Belgravia.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in time at The Cadogan is 3:00pm, and the standard check-out time is 12:00pm. If you’d like to request a late check-out, contact us so we can accommodate your request upon availability. This might be subject to a fee.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Our concierge team can arrange private transfers from the airport. Please email concierge.cad@belmond.com to arrange your transfer. If you require a child seat and luggage assistance, please let us know upon booking.

What is the nearest tube station?

The nearest tube station to The Cadogan is Sloane Square Station (on the Circle and District line), as well as Knightsbridge (on the Piccadilly line). From both stations, it’s approximately a 5-minute walk to the hotel. For guests coming by railway, we’re located about 15 minutes’ walk from London Victoria train station.

I noticed you have a garden across the street. Is this available for The Cadogan’s guests?

Yes, guests of The Cadogan hotel are granted complimentary access to the private Cadogan Place Gardens, which are situated across the street from the hotel. This exclusive access is a special privilege, as only a select few hotels in London offer such an amenity. Guests can obtain keys to the gardens from the hotel reception.

The Cadogan Place Gardens provide a serene environment for relaxation, offering a perfect spot for a morning coffee or a quiet moment. Additionally, the gardens are equipped with tennis courts, and the hotel can facilitate court reservations and provide necessary equipment. The hotel can also arrange picnics for guests to enjoy within the gardens.

I’d like to use the private entrance to The Cadogan. Who can I speak to?

To arrange for the use of private entrance at The Cadogan, you should speak with the hotel's concierge or the reception staff. They will be able to provide you with the necessary information and assist with any arrangements.

I’d like to travel with my pet to The Cadogan, can I bring them?

Your four-legged friend will feel right at home in our London residence. At The Cadogan, you’ll find dedicated amenities to pamper your pet, as well as a canine room service menu. Please ensure to keep dogs on a lead within the hotel and in the gardens.

What are the opening hours for the restaurant and bar?

Our main restaurant, Willett’s, offers a delightful dining experience open from 7am to 11pm for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We recommend contacting our reservations team or checking our official website for the most current schedule.

For light bites and expertly crafted drinks, The Drawing Room operates throughout the day and into the evening. Reserved exclusively for hotel guests at breakfast until 11am, we’re delighted to welcome everyone after that time.

Do you offer in-room dining at The Cadogan?

For guests who’d like to enjoy the convenience of our 24/7 in-room dining menu, browse our options from the comfort of your room or suite and indulge in our selection of dishes featuring all your favourite culinary comforts.

I’d like to host a private dining event at The Cadogan. Who do I speak to arrange this?

Our dedicated events team would be delighted to assist you in planning every detail, from bespoke menus crafted by our culinary experts to selecting the ideal setup for your occasion. Willett’s can be partly or exclusively hired for events. The Drawing Room can also be hired exclusively and is the perfect space for a drinks reception. The event rooms – Oscar and Lillie – can be used for larger gatherings and weddings, as we also have a wedding licence.

I’d like to come to Willett’s. Do I need a reservation?

Both Willett’s and The Drawing Room welcome walk-ins, but should you wish to make a reservation, please email reservations.cad@belmond.com or speak to our concierge upon arrival.

Wellness Treatments and Gym

Do you have a spa with a swimming pool?

The Cadogan has a treatment room for massages, facials and body treatments but no swimming pool. Our dedicated team can arrange a treatment for you, whether you prefer the tranquil setting of our treatment room or the comfort of your own room or suite

Do you have tennis courts at The Cadogan?

A rare amenity in London, guests can also enjoy complimentary access to tennis courts within Cadogan Place Garden, bookable via our concierge team. We are pleased to provide rackets and tennis balls, and our concierge can also arrange professional tennis coaching.

Do you have a gym?

The gym at The Cadogan offers an excellent space for strength training, functional fitness, and stretch workouts, all supported by state-of-the-art TechnoGym equipment, open 24/7. Additionally, we offer one-to-one personal training with our instructor. These are available upon request.

For Families

Do you have connecting rooms for families?

Yes, we can connect rooms and suites for you and your family. Our Penthouse Suite is available to suit small groups, and you can also reserve an entire floor at The Cadogan to ensure your loved ones are close by.

I’m staying at The Cadogan with my family – are there any babysitting services available?

Yes, childcare services are available on request at The Cadogan.

Can I host a wedding party at The Cadogan?

The Cadogan welcomes wedding parties of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Our dedicated events team works with you to plan every detail of your special day. The Cadogan offers:

The Cadogan features the most charming private venues in London, and these can be tailored for the special event you have in mind. We offer a selection of equipment from flat-screen televisions, speakers and microphones to conference devices as well as Bluetooth speakers.

I’d like to host a private dining event at The Cadogan. Who do I speak to arrange this?

You can choose to host a private event at The Drawing Room or Willett’s, the newly opened all-day British bistro in London. Willett's features a semi-private dining area seating up to 10 guests, making it a relaxed yet refined option for group dining, celebratory meals, and corporate lunches in the heart of Chelsea.

How far is The Cadogan from major London attractions?

We’re located within walking distance of the top London landmarks and provide convenient access to many top attractions in London. The unmissable stop for every visitor, Buckingham Palace is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Both the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are located in South Kensington, an approximate 20 minute-walk from us. For guests who are keen to take a stroll through Hyde Park (about a 10-minute walk from The Cadogan), let our concierge show you the most scenic route.

I’d like to book a rail trip on the British Pullman or the Britannic Explorer. Who do I speak to?

If you’d like to reserve a rail adventure onboard one of the Belmond trains in the UK, speak to our concierge who will arrange a transfer to London Victoria. Choose to travel either before or after your stay at The Cadogan and book a round trip onboard the British Pullman or reserve one of the overnight journeys through Cornwall and Wales with the Britannic Explorer.

I’d like to visit Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire. Can we discuss travel arrangements?

Of course. With its abundant gardens, Michelin-starred restaurant and fun-filled cooking and gardening lessons, Le Manoir is the perfect place to learn new skills and indulge in culinary experiences.
