La Residencia is a place of imaginative freedom, with a legacy intrinsically bound to the history of Deià and the spirit of the mountains.

Dating back to the 17th century, the twin manor houses at the core of the estate were once the home of Cistercian monks. Thoughtful irrigation helped the land flourish, becoming home to abundant orchards and olive groves.

As the centuries passed the property grew, shaped by the artistic movements of the village. Opening as a hotel in 1984, it was the first of its kind, adorned with rare art and antiques, becoming a beacon for the world’s most creative visionaries.
