Treporti, Mesole, Saccagnana and Lio Piccolo
Enjoy a charming cycle from the bridge on the Pordelio Canal to the historical centre of Treporti, known for its two bell towers among beautiful gardens.
The route takes in the open spaces of the lagoon with views of the islands of Burano and San Francesco, as well as the the little village of Prà di Saccagnana.
You'll pass by the former convent at Mesole and the shoals and fishing valleys leading to Lio Piccolo — an enchanting small village with Romanesque origins.
Lido and Pellestrina
The 15km long Lido is perfect for exploring on two wheels. Our recommended route starts at Santa Maria Elisabetta and arrives at the Alberoni Nature Reserve before you take a ferry to Pellestrina.
Visit the old Jewish Cemetery and San Nicolò church when you arrive on the Lido. Then cycle along the road that runs parallel to the Adriatic Sea, passing the old town of Malamocco.
On Pellestrina take in views of the San Pietro port in Volta, then continue along the road to Portosecco, passing by ladies making lace and fishermen preparing their nets.
