World Oceans Day

To mark World Oceans Day, employees from Villa Sant’Andrea in Taormina organised a beach clean-up initiative to raise awareness about protecting our oceans at the nearby Isola Bella Nature Reserve, in partnership with University of Catania "Area Terza Missione".

Organised into teams, the participants collected numerous bags of waste, removing in particular cigarette butts, plastic and paper. This initiative is part of a broader shared vision between University of Catania and Villa Sant’Andrea of protecting marine heritage and promoting sustainable development in the area.
