World Children’s Day

At Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina, Sicily, we hosted the inaugural Timeo Wonderland x TMA Community Day in celebration of World Children’s Day. The hotel’s stunning gardens were transformed into a vibrant hub of joy for over 100 guests, including children affected by autism from the TMA Centre in Syracuse, their families, and dedicated operators.

The event was an inspiring occasion for the entire team, who were delighted by the smiles, laughter and connections shared throughout the day. Guests enjoyed a variety of experiences: live portraits by Sicilian painter Papotto, pasta and cannoli-making classes with Chef Roberto Toro’s team, creative games, soap bubble and juggling workshops and much more. While children explored and learned, parents could relax in a dedicated area, featuring an open-air yoga session led by Marina Terreni.

The day concluded with a theatre laboratory by INDA (National Institute of Ancient Drama of Syracuse) and a guided tour of the ancient Greek Theatre of Taormina, creating unforgettable moments for all.
