Andean Plains and Islands of Discovery

Board the train in the Baroque city of Arequipa. Take some time to get comfortable in your cabin and acclimatise to the indulgent atmosphere of the train as you begin your journey towards Puno.

Then take your seat in one of the elegant dining cars for your first dinner on board. Relax and savour refined Andean dishes served with contemporary flair.

After dinner, you can head to the bar car and enjoy a cocktail while you meet your fellow passengers. Tonight we will spend the night while the train continues its journey.

This morning we explore Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Awake early to catch a breathtaking sunrise over the lake. This beautiful place is home to several islands, each with a unique way of life.

. Enjoy an early hike in the Raya to meet a local family, then tuck into a delicious breakfast.

Embark on a traditional boat ride to Uros, an artificial island ingeniously constructed from interwoven reeds that are constantly renewed. The people who live on the island use the same reeds to create dwellings, boats and tools.

We'll then continue to Taquille Island for lunch before a visit to the beautiful Collata Beach.

Enjoy an afternoon tea on your return to the train at Puno station, as we depart for Sacacoha.

Wake to a delicious breakfast, accompanied by stunning views as the sun rises over Marangani. Alight at Tinta Station to discover Raqch'i, a one-of-a-kind Incan archaeological site.

Then as the train arrives in Cusco tuck into a delicious brunch in the bar cars.

All too soon we arrive at Wanchaq station, where it's time to bid farewell to your crew and disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
