Blenheim Palace

Your Journey

The Golden Age of Travel meets the gilded splendours of Blenheim Palace on this quintessentially British journey. Take a trip back in time to the Art Deco era aboard our train, before plunging further into history at Blenheim. Enjoy British fine dining and first-class service in this dual celebration of two timeless treasures.

Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since the early 18th century and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace sits resplendent in acres of Capability Brown-landscaped parkland in the charming market town of Woodstock, Oxfordshire. With its imposing Great Hall, ornate State Rooms, Churchill Exhibition, Marlborough Maze and formal gardens, a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site never fails to captivate.
Your journey begins at London Victoria Station as you board British Pullman and take your seat in your lovingly restored carriage. Take time to admire the exquisite décor and craftsmanship, with authentic vintage details ranging from polished marquetry to brass luggage racks. Soon, your smartly uniformed steward serves a sparkling Bellini and a delicious brunch. Linger over each seasonal bite as you absorb the ever-changing vistas through the window. On arrival at Oxford Parkway Station, guides meet you and escort you on a private coach to Blenheim Palace. Marvel at the stately home’s incredible history, lavish interiors, water terraces and Italian gardens – there is so much to enjoy, even for returning visitors.
Afterwards, board the coach for the journey back to Oxford Parkway Station and rejoin the train. Glass of champagne in hand, enjoy the buzz of conversation in your carriage as your fellow travellers reflect on the sights and experiences of the day. A seasonal three-course dinner is served, accompanied by our sommelier’s handpicked wines, as the train wends its way back to London. Enjoy coffee shortly before your arrival at London Victoria.
