In our Tastes of Tomorrow series, some of the world’s most acclaimed chefs join our train’s Culinary Curator, Chef André Chiang, on an adventure through Malaysia.

Highlights

Dine on the creations of Chef André and guest chef Ricardo Chaneton as you glide from the epicurean haven of Singapore, through lush jungle landscape and to the culinary wonders of Penang.

Complimentary transfers

We'll collect you from your Singapore accommodation and transfer you to Woodlands train station for departure. On arrival back into Woodlands train station, a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation in Singapore.

Three nights aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express luxury train with dedicated 24-hour steward service.

Fine dining

All meals aboard the train including a daily four-course dinner, continental breakfast served in your cabin, three-course lunch and afternoon tea. Also includes all house wine, house spirits and local beer. Premium drinks and drinks ordered to your cabin will be an additional charge.

Guest Chef: Ricardo Chaneton

Venezuelan-born Chef Ricardo Chaneton joins Chef André Chiang on our 16 November 2026 departure. From Caracas to the kitchens of three-Michelin-starred Mirazur, Ricardo brings Latin America’s rich culinary heritage through a French lens. On board, he and Chef André will reimagine their culinary traditions through the vibrant flavours and influences of Southeast Asia.
