Château de Chamirey

Cruise the Canal du Centre, enjoying the beautiful countryside. Take the opportunity to walk or cycle along the towpath.

Visit Château de Chamirey, a family wine estate in Mercurey. Enjoy a tour of the vineyards, property and wine cellar before sampling the fine wines. Then return to the barge for evening cocktails.



Cruise the Canal du Centre to Fragnes before crossing to the River Saône.

Enjoy a walking tour of Chalon-sur-Saône’s boutiques, square and half-timbered buildings. Browse through the charming shops or relax at a pavement cafe.

In the evening, you'll dine at a local Michelin-starred restaurant.



Cruise through the River Saône valley to Seurre. Here you'll stop to visit Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy.

Tour the magnificent 15th-century Hôtel-Dieu, a former charity hospital, and enjoy an in-depth wine tasting. Explore the wonderful architecture and fine shopping.

Cruise to St-Jean-de-Losne, the barging capital of France. As evening descends, stroll around its port and see the many barges.



Leave the river and enter the Burgundy Canal. Visit the medieval Clos de Vougeot where Cistercian monks began making wine in the 12th century.

The château is the headquarters of the celebrated wine society, Chevaliers du Tastevin. After a degustation, rejoin the barge at Longecourt and continue your cruise.



Visit Dijon’s magnificent Ducal Palace and Grey Poupon mustard shop. Browse the wonderful food market and discover the authentic flavours of the region.

In the evening try a Kir aperitif with local Cassis blackcurrant liqueur and Aligoté wine. Then sit down to a glamorous farewell gala dinner.



As the sun rises, enjoy your final breakfast on board before the crew bids you farewell and you disembark.
