Join us at Dijon’s Port du Canal where your cruise begins. Our crew welcome you aboard with a chilled glass of champagne as you settle into your luxurious surroundings. Savour your first sample of exquisite dining on board with dinner freshly prepared by your chef this evening.

Awake as the barge sets sail along the canal. Indulge in a leisurely breakfast before we arrive in Longecourt.

Enjoy lunch on the river before a scenic drive down the Route des Grands Crus through the villages of the Cote D’Or. Arrive in Vougeot for an exclusive visit to the Clos de Vougeot, an imposing medieval chateau surrounded by sweeping vineyards. Inside you’l find ancient wine presses used by 12th-century Cistercian monks.After, a private wine tasting awaits at the acclaimed domaine in Gevrey Chambertin.

Return to the barge for a sumptuous dinner this evening.

After breakfast, we drive to Dijon. Amble along the pretty cobbled streets on a walking tour with your guide. Visit the market and the Ducal Palace, seat of the medieval dukes of Burgundy. Arrive at the Edmond Fallot boutique for an exclusive mustard tasting then step out into the city to explore at leisure.

Return to the barge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon cruise to St. Jean de Losne. Chef serves delectable French cuisine for dinner, then the evening provides the perfect time for a moonlit stroll around the vibrant port.

This morning the barge cruises along the majestic Saône River. Lunch is served before we navigate the Crissey lock to reach the Canal du Centre. The barge moors alongside the charming village of Fragnes.

Step ashore to visit the town of Chalon sur Saône, set with a magnificent cathedral square and timber-framed dwellings. Tour the cellars of Chateau de Pommard and enjoy a wine tasting before you return to the barge. Dinner is a gastronomic delight, served on board this evening.

Enjoy life at a gentle pace with a stunning cruise along the Canal du Centre. Alight for a stroll on the towpath or cycle alongside the barge. Lunch is served at the Michelin-starred Le Montrachet restaurant in Puligny Montrachet, followed by a short ride to the town of Beaune.

Marvel at the vast wine cellars of Joseph Drouhin, formerly owned by the church and the dukes of Burgundy. Visit Hotel Dieu, a grand charity hospital that exemplifies the rich history of the Burgundy wine region. A delectable dinner awaits back on board the barge.

This morning we sail past the sprawling vineyards of Santenay to arrive in the pretty village of St Leger sur Dheune.

After lunch take a short ride to the Chateau de Rully. The count of Rully hosts you on an exclusive tour of his 12th-century chateau. The grand medieval fortress enjoys a privileged view of the lush vineyards below.

Back on the barge, chef prepares your farewell Gala dinner for your final evening on board.

After breakfast the crew bid you a fond farewell as you disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
