A Haven on the River

When the surroundings are so breathtakingly beautiful, why rush things? Our seven luxurious barges give you the chance to relish every moment of your journey as you glide through the celebrated waterways of southern France.

WE MAKE IT a point of pride to ensure that your every need is taken care of—all you have to do is enjoy the ride. You’ll be looked after by the boat’s expert chef, who carefully pairs seasonal, regional cuisine with local wines and cheeses. This leaves you free to enjoy the heavenly views as you drift along picturesque riverbanks, mooring to take tailor-made excursions.

Running from April to October, our customised itineraries range from truffle hunting and go-karting to hot air ballooning and horse-riding. Sample rare vintages at a famous chateau. Hop off at a village market with our chef and help pick out fresh local produce for the evening’s feast.

There are so many beautiful old sites to explore. As you rest your hand on the warm, sun-baked stone of a little chapel, you can feel the current of rich history that permeates the region. From the villages to the fields, it’s like stepping into a Van Gogh painting. It was in Arles and Saint-Rémy, after all, that the artist produced his best-loved work and declared: “The whole future of art is to be found in the South of France”.

The only decision you have to make is which of our barges you’ll choose for your journey. Some have pools and sunbeds laid out on the pretty decks, while all have bicycles ready for riding along leafy pathways.

Rest assured, that whichever you choose, it will be just the right one for you. A champagne reception will welcome you aboard and serenity and adventure in the French countryside lie just ahead.
