Private Portofino

I’ve worked with our concierge to prepare some tips to uncover the hidden gems of the Gulf, exclusively for you.

My first suggestion is to sail towards Secca Carega. Anchor in the Bay and take a dip in the pristine waters of the Protected Marina Area, rich with diverse fish and coral. Continue to San Fruttuoso, a secluded bay inaccessible by car, home of an incredible Benedectine monastery.

If San Fruttuoso isn’t on the agenda, consider Punta Chiappa. Anchor offshore and reach the dock of Porto Pidocchio with the tender. This petite fisherman’s village is a timelessly charming local gem, rarely seen by tourists. Take a panoramic walk and find a table for lunch at Do Spadin. I recommend the fritto misto; it’s simple yet delicious.

Back on dry land in Portofino, dinner must be on the Piazzetta. Our very own DaV Mare offers you an alfresco table in the heart of the village. Alternatively, for an unbeatable traditional Ligurian feast, I recommend La Taverna del Marinaio.
