Modern luxury meets Renaissance splendour
Nestled in the Fiesole hills, this former medieval monastery perfectly captures the romance of Florence
Blending 14th-century artistry with the region’s ethereal beauty, Villa San Michele is as inspiring as the city’s greatest cathedrals and galleries. Our facade, attributed to Michelangelo, is hugged by lush woodland and terraced gardens. Step outside and gaze down across Florence and to the Chianti hills beyond.

‘Viewing the World’ Art Installation
Join us between 16 May and 7 November to explore MITICO, our new collaboration with acclaimed art gallery Galleria Continua.
Two fascinating, large-scale installations – “Window & Ladder” and “The Cloud” – pay homage to our hotel’s exceptional location overlooking Florence, the city of Renaissance.
Created by Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich, these fascinating works of art explore the perception of reality and illusion in art, as well as ideas of universal beauty through differing points of view.
Follow the art path and visit our other MITICO installations around Italy:
