“My cuisine is the continuity of culinary practices transmitted by great masters, who taught me the value of this art and the importance of culture and knowledge. These are the values on which we will build a golden experience.”
— Vania Ghedini, Head Chef
At the helm of our Venice fine dining spot since 2024 – and having retained the restaurant’s Michelin star for the second year in a row – Chef Vania combines the best of the Veneto region with nods to her roots in Emilia-Romagna, Northern Italy, and hints of Moroccan ingredients.
Our Michelin-starred menu was designed by Chef Vania Ghedini, in collaboration with ORO’s Culinary Creative Director Massimo Bottura.

Begin your culinary journey with a deeply-flavoured crab carrying the wonders of the Mediterranean sea, from Venice to Tangier. Then, select your Italian traditional pasta, followed by the signature lobster or a beautifully grilled lamb.
View MenuThe menu at ORO is a seven-course culinary experience. Anticipate a modern take on re-imagined local ingredients, starting with fried oyster paired with an egg zabaglione – a typical Italian custard – followed by a story-rich carpaccio, a risotto with seaweed and a beautiful sea bass.
View MenuTo finish your Michelin-starred dinner on a sweet note, opt for the delicate pairing of a blackberry sorbet with a hint of balsamic vinegar from Modena – a nod to Massimo's origins – or take your time to appreciate the fruit millefeuille with ice cream.
View MenuChoose a bottle of sparkling wine to awaken the palate. Alternatively, pick an airy white wine to enhance the flavours of the main dishes – perfect for the eggplant with sesame sauce and burnt lemon.
View MenuLiving and working in Venice is a constant source of inspiration for Vania Ghedini. At ORO restaurant, the internationally-acclaimed visionary presents a unique and innovative take on traditional Venetian cuisine, where hero dishes are made of simple yet exquisitely produced ingredients.
