Madeira Night at Reid's:
A folkloric evening, ideal for a welcome party around the pools of Reid’s Palace. Open bar and buffet setting with a spectacular view over the bay of Funchal and the Atlantic ocean. Traditional Female Tuna band (University Students Band) and folkloric bands are the ideal entertainment for this party.
Waiters are dressed with the local dresses from Madeira and the tables are decorated in a Madeiran style with colourful tablecloths.

Madeira Wine Company with vintage cars transfer:
Set in a former XVIIth century Franciscan monastery, this wine cellar is the ideal backdrop for a private dinner catered by Reid´s Chef. Discover the 4 varieties of Madeira wines, how it is made, and take a bottle home with you produce on the same year than your date of birth. Dinner is a typical Madeira dinner. Entertainment recommended: traditional Madeira Folklore. Transfer from the hotel can be done on antique cars from the 1920’s to the 1940’s.

“20’s Evening” in the Dining Room:
Upon entering the Dining Room you will be completely transformed to the 1920’s. An “old timer” car will help set the stage. Throughout the dinner there will be a projection of old black & white silent movies, such as Laurel and Hardie, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton as well as tap dancers, a show evoking the Cotton Club and a fun casino with roulette, poker and black jack tables.

Murder Mystery Dinner:
Relive the world of Agatha Christie during one evening at Reid’s. A professional team of actors from the Orient-Express train will delight you with an original scenario. Plots starts during cocktail when actors mingle with your guests and action happens during the gourmet dinner served by our Chef in the Dinning Room or Les Faunes Restaurant.

Medieval Night at São Tiago Fort:
This city fort, with its military-style architecture, is located above the seafront in the old part of the city more commonly known as Zona Velha. This Fort was built to defend the port of Funchal in the early 17th century and today, it houses the Museum of Modern Art and a Gourmet Restaurant overlooking the sea.
The fort is the perfect venue to relive the traditions of medieval times!! A group of actors will introduce to the music, dances and ambience of 11th century. The pateo and restaurant of the Fort will be completely decorated accordingly to the Mediaval times…
