Gary Berkland, City Attorney (retainer)
(Chamber of Commerce) - Gary began his practice of law with the Houser law office as an associate in 1972. A partnership of Houser & Berkland law offices was established in 1981. Gary was appointed City Attorney in 1989.

Steve Froehlich
- Steve came to the Belmond area in 1994 to take a job with Cargil at their corn research station. As the time went by he acquired an interest in computers. He started at Hamilton College in 1998 in the network administration program and continued to work full time. When Mycogen bought Cargil Seeds in 2000 he decided to pursue his degree full time. He acquired his A+ certification in computer work in 2000. He went on to get his AA in network administration in early 2001. He operated a computer business from his home, building and selling computers and doing home and small business networking. He worked for Iowa Office Supply for one year selling high-end copiers and printers. In 2004 he purchased Model Cleaners and opened Steve’s PC Clinic in the same building. He operated both businesses until closing Model Cleaners in May of 2007. He continues to operate Steve’s PC Clinic and became an iwireless cell phone dealer in August 2007.
