Brad Robson
- My wife, Jane our 3 young children and I moved to Belmond in 1981. We made a job change from FDIC bank examiner to loan officer at First State Bank.
Belmond has been very good to our family. Our children received a top notch education benefiting greatly growing up in a caring and nurturing community. Jane and I are now grandparents and proud to call Belmond our hometown. We will continue to promote Belmond in every way so that future generations can enjoy the same opportunities our family experienced.

Dan Lovgren
- My wife and I relocated to Belmond from Nebraska in April 1988 with plans to stay in Belmond 3-5 years, twenty years later we can't imagine ever leaving. The Belmond community provided an atmosphere that supported and promoted our family values as we have raised our three children. Over the years I have been a supporter of town initiatives but always from the sidelines. When asked to join the BIDCO board in 2006 I felt compelled to get into the game and help continue the Belmond legacy.

Don Goeman
(Current President) - Donald E. Goeman is Broker and Co-Owner of PropertyLink GMAC Real Estate in Belmond. He is also a partner in Goeman Farms, a grain farm operation in north central Iowa and formerly a partner in Wright Fabrication of Belmond.
Don has served on a number of civic organizations including the Belmond/Klemme School Board, BIDCO, and the Belmond Area Physician Recruitment board, all of which he has served as president.
Don received a B.A. in Business from Buena Vista College
Don and his wife, Darla have been married for 33 years. Two of their children, Aimee and Tate live in Scottsdale, Az. Their son, Aaron and granddaughter, Olivia live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have been life-long members of the Immanuel Reformed Church. They enjoy spending their free time playing golf, visiting their houseboat and traveling.

Eric Simonson
- My wife, daughter and I moved to Belmond from the Twin Cities in 2003, when I took positions with the Wright County Attorney's Office and the Houser & Berkland law firm. Having grown up in nearby Fort Dodge, it was especially nice to return to Iowa with my family. Five years and two more children later, we know we made the right choice. The people we have met in Belmond have made us feel like this is home and we are excited to be able to be a part of a community with small town values and growing aspirations. I have been a member of the BIDCO board since 2004. I hope to continue with the board in supporting Belmond businesses and keeping this a great place to work and live.

Mark Soma
- Mark Soma, a native of Belmond, was elected to serve as a BIDCO board member in April 2009. His service on the Chamber of Commerce board and experience as Assistant Manager and part owner of True Value Hardware have prepared him for this position. Mark lives in Belmond with his wife Kim, also a native of Belmond, and their three children. Two of his children are attending the Belmond Sr. High School, and one at the new Jacobson Elementary School. Mark believes that Belmond is truly a great place to live, work and meet great people.

Nancy Gabrielson
- I am excited to have the opportunity to again become an active part of the Belmond Community. I am a firm believer in giving back to your community and serving as a BIDCO board member will help me do just that. Mick and I both grew up in the Belmond Community. I was a farm girl and Mick a Goodell native. We raised 3 daughters here and 2 of our son-in-laws also graduated from Belmond. All were given the education and ethical values needed to be fully successful adults for this we are truly grateful. It is a privilege to return to the Belmond health care community through the Belmond Medical Center. I look forward to promoting Belmond economic growth by serving as a BIDCO board member.

Sherri Kinseth
- I have lived in Belmond for most of my life and have enjoyed the educational and business opportunities the community has offered me throughout the years. Graduating from Belmond Community School in 1976, my education continued at the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in 1980.
In 1984 I joined our family business, Kinseth Plumbing & Heating and have been there ever since. I believe in giving back to your community to keep it strong for future generations and I enjoy working with the BIDCO board members, as they are committed to promoting Belmond.

Steve Soma
- Steve Soma is a Belmond native and has served as a BIDCO board member since 1996. Steve has been employed with First Gabrielson Agency since 1981 and is office manager for their Belmond and Thornton locations.
As an active promoter of Belmond, Steve has served the community in several capacities. He was a member of the Belmond Jaycees for 17 years, and is a past president of the Belmond Area Chamber of Commerce. He is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Belmond Gridiron Club, and BK Booster Klub. Steve is currently a board member of the Belmond Hospital Foundation, Belmond-Klemme Scholarship Foundation II, and Trinity Lutheran Church Foundation.
Steve and his wife, Barb, have two children, Brad and Amy.

Tony Andrews
- Tony Andrews is the self-employed owner of Andrews Funeral Homes in Belmond and Klemme, IA. A native of Clear Lake, IA, graduate of North Iowa Community College and the University of Minnesota with a B.S Degree in Mortuary Science. Funeral service professional since 1987. Longtime active in numerous Civic, Professional, and Conservation organization roles. Served on the Owatonna and Belmond Area Chambers of Commerce and Belmond Industrial Development Corporation and Iowa/Minnesota Funeral Director's Associations. Wife Laurie and son Zach Andrews.
